4. Not keeping the gun pointed down to the ground, or downrange after finishing shooting.
5. Not setting the safety on the gun after finishing shooting.
6. No hearing protection.
7. Keep the fingers off the trigger if you're done shooting.

Zero, seeing as it doesn't use a clip. My guess is there was one in the chamber and one in the magazine. At least I hope there was only that many rounds. Kid could have turned and mowed down everyone there if there were more.

The dad is an idiot for having such a small kid play with weapons in the first place.
Have him play with fucken Lego or similar to develop his creativity...not have him love guns so he either grows into a dumb cop or a piece of meat to be dressed in camouflage and sent to die in some shithole by the guys that played with Lego in their youth.

I'm all for teaching kids to shoot, but they also need to be taught to carry safely and responsibly. This kid was waving the gun all over the place, flagged everyone he was around, and didn't even have a proper stance. Then again it's entirely possible that his father doesn't have any of those skills either.
