The fatal Crash of Tom Pryce at the South African Grand Prix at Kyalami in 1977.
On Lap 21, two marshals crossed the track to reach the car of Zorzi, who pulled off to the left side of the main straight. Just after a brow of a hill and a bridge over the track.
In the process, 19 year old Jansen van Vuuren was hit by Tom Pryce at 170 mph. He carried a 40 lb fire extinguisher. Tom Pryce was hit by the fire extinguisher in the head. Both, Tom and Jansen died instantly. Van Vuuren's body was completely dismembered. He was officially identified by his absence when the race director had accounted for all of his remaining colleagues.
The added sound effects for dramatic purposes are somehow inapropriate. And i can't really believe, that they showed this in Italian Television back then.
