British Soldier Killed 2nd September Afghanistan Named.

Lance Corporal Richard James Brandon of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers was killed in Afghanistan on the 2nd September 2009.Lcpl Brandon was killed south of Gereshk in Helmand province.He was driving a Samson repair and recovery vehicle within A Squadron fitter section of the Lightdragoons.Lcpl Brandons vehicle was hit by an IED and he was killed istantly
