If it was in the US (which I don't think it was), I would agree. Most likely a women on the phone like they always are. Had one almost pull out in front of me the other day. She looked right, then started pulling out while looking left, with a damn phone stuck to her head per usual.

Yeah I should have added, either world biggest coward or world most distracted driver, both equally bad. I really wish we had better and much more strict penalties for serious infractions like this, I strongly believe this person should have his or her license taken away for good.

It's illegal to text or use your cell-phone in Ontario unless it's via Bluetooth. The fine is $50 I believe.

The penalty should be more like 1 month suspension of license for first time offenders and a fine of over $100, I feel like driving is something people take WAY to lightly, including the law.

Definitely the dick in the Range Rovers fault, but after watching it several times, that lorry driver wasn't half travelling fast. Perhaps if he was travelling a little slower he might have been able to stop beforehand. You need to drive defensively because plenty of women out there with driving licences
