Actual bomb blast being filmed by an accomplice to one of the suicide bombers in Damascus. Taken from a 45 minute long official AlQaeda video, the explosion is shown in the second of these clips for brevity.

The first clip explains from about 1.25 how the site was surveyed in the morning and checked for how the people congregate there. The bomber Abu Baraa Al-Shami explains why he is going to commit suicide from about 2.20, he explains that he is doing it for the sake of a woman he claims was raped by five men in her house and her son killed in front of her.

The blast killed not only government security personnel, but also countless civilians who didn't know what hit them and why. Rough justice accomplished for the rape victim in usual AlQaeda style!

The Obama administration has been in major denial of the role of AlQaeda in Syria, because this is not supportive of the Saudi calls to arm the rebels since those arms will be in the hands of AlQaeda. The Russians and Chinese call for political dialogue to end the crisis, and the Syrian government has indicated willingness, and indeed the majority of the nation voted in a referendum to change the constitution to allow multi-party rule. However, the armed factions refuse the political dialogue and opt for war, encouraged by the sanctions and misconceived stance of the Obama administration.
