Nato has said an explosion has killed six members of its Isaf force in eastern Afghanistan.
The Nato statement said the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device in eastern Afghanistan.
The statement provided no further details about the attack and did not identify the dead service members.
The statement said Nato's policy is to allow "national authorities" to give details about the soldiers.
The deaths took the number of Nato troops killed in the last two days to eight, one of the deadliest periods of violence for foreign troops in weeks.
A string of roadside bombs and clashes in the south killed at least 24 Afghan civilians and police earlier on Sunday.
