Obama Lies To 7000 Workers
CBS's 60 Minutes reported on 04.01.2012 that 3 months before the general election Obama told 7000 workers in NASA's space program that he would not cancel the Constellation space program. Not only did he lie to their face and do the exact opposite of what he promised, the 7000 person lay off devastated that area's economy. Another 7000 people were directly effected by Obama's decision. Businesses failed sending people into foreclosure and bankruptcy.

Eh, at first I thought this move was asinine of Obama to pull. Then I thought of the situation he's dealing with. The US is out of money.
If you think NASA is the only government agency to go, you've got another thing coming...
It's kind of sad. NASA served as the inspiration for a whole generation of kids who became scientists, inventors, thinkers. The current generation has nothing to inspire them.

@hellgremlin when NASA developed speedos for Mark Phelps they lost some of my admiration. But hey, we learned how to grow plants with water and we have a mattress for zero gravity so it's not a total wash, eh?
