  • More Cold War II propaganda from Putin's Russia TV.
Notice that Russian TV never has a negative story about Russia.
Why not? Because it's a propaganda organ.

  • Same bullshit, recycled story from like 2 weeks ago...

Losers and scumbags that got kicked out. They still wear the uniform they hate? What's up with that? Why are they imitating and marching around like the military they hate?

The "medals" they are throwing away are actually "service medals" AKA, "thanks for participating." Everyone gets them just for showing up. They literally did nothing more to earn them other than showing up to work at the designated time and More..

    • @Martyr_Machine -- we must've seen two different videos. i didn't hear anything against the military, but i heard plenty anti-government... as far as i understand it the military doesn't decide whether or not we go to war, the government does. that is what they are protesting; the reasons for us being there. the media /reporter was trying to put an anti-military spin on it tho.
they have a right to WEAR the uniform (if they want)...yes? albeit Mr Olsen could seriously use a haircut, maybe his tr More..

If you are throwing your service medals away in juvenile protest then you are against the military. There is another video about this same situation and their words are very anti military.

Actually, they are bordering on the impersonation of service members, albeit poory. Which is a felony.

    • @Martyr_Machine - try as i might... i still cant HEAR anything being said that is anti military. they say why they are doing what they do, so i have to take them at their word as to why they are doing it - and it sounds for all the world like they are blaming those who say go and do this....which is the government.
also i tend to wonder why so many "thousands of others" joined them in their protest against the government.
there is certainly a growing dissatisfaction with the US gov't More..

I hear you and I respect your stance.

The government did not award those medals, the military did.

It is also very offensive to us when someone dresses like us and acts like us under false pretenses or to push an agenda.

There are probably 100 reason the average military person would be offended by this.

Equating what we do to "war industry" is anti military. Saying that we are serving the interests of nameless corporations is anti military. Saying that you are not pr More..

      It's not what was said.

"If you are throwing your service medals away in juvenile protest then you are against the military."

  • "Tip of the ice-berg or a few bad apples?" Neither, just former military members voicing their opinion, using the gesture as protest. Rather naive to think that 100% of the thousands of our ex military blindly support everything the government does just because they wore a uniform at one time. As civilians now they have their full 1st amendment rights to do so.

  • A few bad apples. 99% of the veterans would not do this.

  • You're given medals for action.
Not for politicians fucked up policies.

You volunteered, you wore the uniform, you got paid; best thing you can do as a veteran is shut the fuck up and get on with your life.

    Live it.

Is the treatment of veterans reprehensible?

    You bet your ass.

But, there is one immutable fact when you come home:

    Nobody owes you shit.

    • @Hiarken politician use them and lie. All wars from 1945 are LIE!

    • @104JebackaBrigada And how in the fuck is it a surprise, that politicians use and lie to troops?

This has happened since time and memorial.

      They lie.

      Some die.

Sort of goes with the job.

Throwing away your medals, only shows disrespect to those who fought next to you.

I don't expect these protesters to understand that.

      Dizzy motherfuckers one and all.

  • There are millions of U.S. veterans, so it isn't surprising to find a few traitors and leftist nuts among them. In fact, you'll find a few of every kind of person good and bad amongst them. Lame propaganda outlets like RT will attempt to find them to paint a misleading picture of the opinions of veterans. RT is an enterprise of lying liars, dedicated to the art of the lie.

  • Real protect would be for theses veterans to burn his/her DD 214, canceling their education benefit(s), and not claiming service-connected injuries. The medals tossing is just a superficial gesture/protest.

  • These men are protesting against bogus wars and mistreatment of veterans once they have completed their service, absolutely nothing wrong with that.

And why shouldn't ordinary folks be angry when their taxpayers dollars get shipped to Afghanistan at 2 billion per week, while people back home struggle to support their families and cannot find jobs, it's a friggin disgrace!

  • Of the millions who have served. 50 throwing away their medals is not significant.
I'm sure there are a few thousand that can not even find theirs.
And unlike most middle eastern countries, Service in the U.S. military does not mean blind obedience.
