Skateboarder Tasered at San Diego State University

A video of a skateboarder being arrested by San Diego State Campus Police was posted on YouTube Thursday morning. The video, captured by a student's cell phone camera, shows police subduing 21-year old Josh Gandy and using a stun gun on him. Police say Gandy, who is not a student on the campus, refused to get off his skateboard and became threatening towards officers.

    • Well, no they can't. Not legally and if they get found out they will pay for it. I'm not sure what you do for a living but would you risk going to prison and losing everything you've worked for for an ego game? I know of no police officer willing to lose $70-$130,000 a year because they have a grudge.   • This kid was in the wrong, the sidewalks are crowded and the skaters are not allowed to skate in the area, this security agent was in the right to drop the fool when he began getting belligerent an not being a student wouldn't that make it trespassing also?

  • 20% of cops give all cops a bad name the problem is those 20% get promoted in the fucked up system we got and don't fix shit. i mean look and the kid he's 150 soaken wet and he was already down and another officer showed up to assest. these cops get these tazers and use them on us just for fun i've seen a cop use one on a guy in cuffs and there were 3 cops holding him down don't tell me that the 4th cop had to tazer to get dude in car thats bullshit.
