  • This is nothing compared to the Omaha Zoo. You actually walk underneath the water.

  • This place is great. Went there last year. We have an aquarium in Chattanooga, but nothing like this one. Interesting and very pleasant experience. The whale sharks are great to watch.
Interesting article/history on the building of the aquarium with the bill being footed by one of the owners of Home Depot if I remember correctly. He flipped the bill of MILLIONS of dollars, controlled the construction of it rather than letting the city of state handle operations. It was constructed under budget, and in record time.
Even though I hate Atlanta, the experience is not bad. Parking in a tower, fast lines going in. Not too crowded inside. I suggest getting tickets online rather than have to get them on site.
I got some very nice footage and photos there also.
    Thanks Thunderbear.
