Person on ground , vehicle /garage fire Shediac Rd, Moncton

Quite a few Moncton Firefighters responded to a house fire that could
possibly in the garage area just after 12:30 A.M. this morning , just across
from McBuns Bakery. When Firefighters arrived on scene they found a person
laying on the ground and requested a ambulance right away. Codiac R.C.M.P.
blocked off both ends of Shediac Road so Firefighters could deal with the fire.
Red Cross , N.B.Power and Enbridge gas also responded to the fire call. Possibly
a car was on fire , starting the fire in the garage. Firefighters were able to
knock down the fire quickly , saving the house. Duplex so 2 Family's were
displaced. The Fire Prevention Officer was also needed at the scene. One person
was transported to hospital by Ambulance.
Traffic was being rerouted along the side streets , Shediac Road blocked by
huge hoses down the center of the road. At 2:15 A.M. the Platoon Chief turned
over control of the scene to the Fire prevention officer.
