YUKON, Okla. -- Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving a train, police said.

Authorities said a train ran into a pickup truck in Yukon at the intersection of Ranchwood and Vandament.


Crews with the Emergency Medical Services Authority have transported the driver of the pickup truck, a 77-year-old man, to the OU Medical Center in serious condition.

The train did not stop when it hit the truck, but authorities said the engineer might not have known the train hit anything.
