This is a outstanding documentary telling the story of Alister Urquhart who aged 19 was a Japanese prisoner of war captured at Singapore .He survived the initial battle then the death marches the Burma railway more death marches being torpedoed by a Sub whilst being transported to mainland Japan in one of the infamous hell ships then being forced labour in Nagasaki when the second atomic bomb was dropped.And he tells us in his own narrative how he survived all these events.
