It's one reason of many why I left the infantry.
Keep all that crap in tanks and helicopters. Soldiers don't need to deal with it. A real soldier wants a highly effective rifle with stopping power and the ability to call the shots without interferance from above.
Thats not todays Army...sorry, just telling it like it is!

Year...2020.
This Illegal Alien soldier from central America will be sent into combat with equipment worth more then the 40,000 the Army promised him for a substandard college degree...and citizenship.
He looks mean and lethal. He relies on a few small batteries to operate his sensitive equipment...prone to breakdown in combat situations and failure when his batteries run out of juice!
His death won't be registered in combat because technically...he's not even an America More..

Agreed. There is no need for troops to be on ground at all these days.
If you watch ross kemp in afghanistan.. you see they basically use troops to bring out the taliban.. so they can then airstrike them..
Why risk live's for a game of cat and mouse.. when you could just make radio controlled vehicles with guns.. Put a loud speaker on it and just wait for the enemy to come out.
