Everyone's entitled to a fair hearing, George. But, you blew it with this woman. Perhaps if you knew her better, you'd be aware of the statements she's made that ought to disqualify her.

She got her judgship as most do. She was picked by Daniel Moynihan and approved by Bush because she was paired with a conservitive who got a judge's robe in the same deal.

  • All he "stood up for" was milder langauge, not Sotomayor. Having said that we know what her comments would be called if the roles were reversed.

GHW Bush is losing it. He has lost some of his judgment. At age 85, he plans to parachute out of an airplane to commemorate his WWII experience in the Pacific. Maybe he does not realize that at his age his bones are fragile. and his mind is not as sharp as when he was in charge of the CIA.

You throwing him under a bus can not be good for his bones either.

Your damn good at 'spinning'. Ever thought of getting paid for it?? Sure the GOP can use your talents somewhere.

I'll keep my amateur status, thanks. And unlike you, since I'm telling the truth and not doing things like making excuses for nasty attacks on "slutty" women and their daughters, I can look at myself in the mirror every morning.

Well, isn't that special? What a clever response. If you had been paying any attention at all you would see that the Bush presidents get castigated in the flaming lib media on a regular basis. Bush Senior not so much any more but it is there nonetheless. Do a search on Kuwait and the first Iraq war. The effing libs were right there to tear him down and to provide public defenders for the Iraqi republican guards. If you consider Junior to be an idiot, how did he rise to be President? Be very careful how you answer, because I could name any number of people that have more, real experience that the current big O.

Provide public defenders for the Iraqi republican guards??? Democratic presidents got castigated by the right wing media so what's your point?? Your last question is amusing because you do realize you answered your own question right??

I said Letterman was out of line and pointed out he apologized for it. Only a rabid right winger would 'spin' that into 'making excuses for nasty attacks'. Like I said, your good at spinning.
