A British actor who played an Ewok in Returnof the Jedi and a goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone has been charged with exposing himself to a student on the subway.

According to UK tabloid The Sun, Nicholas Read, 41, has been charged with flashing a female student while riding the rails in Manchester, England. Read is alleged to have then snapped a photo of the "horrified" reaction of the student's friend.

The dwarf actor is facing potential jail time as this most recent incident marks the second time Read has been arrested for allegedly flashing schoolgirls riding the subway.

Read received a 20-week suspended sentence in 2010 for a similar incident.

"His actions were deplorable," says a British Transport Police spokesman of the 2010 incident. "He targeted a young lone female, unable to move from her seat, was too scared to speak, and was paralyzed by fear from his actions, worried he may assault her too.

"His behaviour was completely unacceptable but the victim reporting the incident straight away enabled police to make a swift arrest."

The paper claims Read has a number of sex offences on his record and is already a registered sex offender.

Read, who has been acting since he was 16, will be sentenced July 13.
