Rafter dies in Miljacka river Sarajevo
One of fastest and most talented climbers in the Balkans Adnan Catic
(age 26) drowned in Miljacka river in down town Sarajevo. Along
with his friend Emir Murga, Adnan planned to do some rafting down the
Miljacka river. Unfortunatelly the boat turned over and both men began
to drown in fast and murky water. Emir Murga was rescued and is
recovering in one of Sarajevo's hospitals, Adnan was pulled out of water
without pulse and resuscitation was not successful.

They should either have a raft by-pass chute around the boil, or stair-step the dam wall. We have a river like that where I live and once you get caught in the boil, it just spins you and spins you.
