  • Nice to see that despite what happened back then they both obviously regard it as something that was required of them and bear no grudge.A good refreshing video.

    • @Zombiespit

He had not been playing online long enough for the Stealth unlock. 1500 points and 2 levels to go, maybe he should have stayed on a smaller server...........

    • @Zombiespit Stealth isn't invisible to radar, only less visible to radar. The problem was that the mission planners got sloppy and had the stealth fighters flying the same paths day after day. The serbs got wise and focused defenses along known flight paths.

  • I was working in Aviano Air Base at the time and remember this well..... and ironically was only there because I was working for Disney in Venice building their first 2 cruise ships, and was asked to go to Aviano to project manage the construction of additional accommodation modules for these very pilots.

    • @zenshiva and for those that may not be aware (ex wife was intel officer in air force stationed at "a base" where they trained these pilots), stealth does not exactly mean invisible. radar can pick up all kinds of things (especially with someone behind the helm who knows what they are doing). a lot of factors take place when trying to avoid radar and trying to pick up a stealth object. the main objective of stealth is to minimize your radar cross section so you look like something e More..

  • America should have NEVER stuck their fucking nose into that conflict!

I wish Russia stepped in back then as they're doing now with Syria.

  • Adversaries often become friends after a conflict. WW1 and 2, Vietnam are just a few examples. Something about mutually shared survival that unites men in a bond that transcends former hatreds and beliefs.

  • Soldiers are just pawns. The majority of them are sent to do a job for their country either it be right or wrong in their opion. They have no resentment towards each other since their counterpart is sent to do the same.

  • Much respect to both.

When I am reminded of the F117, it bothers me that the US Airforce retired them all. They are still a younger platform than all the F15/F16/F18s we have active in inventory.

The Airforce needs a major overhaul and rethinking. Until that happens I wish we would manufacture more F22s, bring back F117 and buy the Gripen NG as a stopgap.
