He was a good mobster actor because that probably is his personality. I can see him getting like that off the camera. He doesn't "think" he is a mobster. Thats just his natural reaction.

These actors for the most part are people just like you and I... and anyone in this world would get fed up with some asshole following you around with a camera.

I thought hes an asshole at first then I thought well if I was out shopping with my family and some dude was following me around with a camera I would react exactly the same way. Give people privacy.
