Montreal Police Pepper Spray Bar Patrons

SPVM riot officers launch a burst of pepper spray at patrons standing in the patio of the Saint Brock brasserie after a chair was thrown at them. The police were battling demonstrators who were protesting the passing of Bill 78, which regulates weeks of student protests by introducing new fines for protests with more than 50 people if they are not announced and planned in advance.

Two videos: One of a far angle of the event and a news report from Radio Canada with footage from the bar's cameras.
