  • Religion has never had a problem with violence, so it's really of no surprise that the mother, rather than sit down with her son to have a civil, logical, non-emotionally-addled conversation to determine where they stand both individually and as a family, immediately resorts to aggressive bullying and threats. It's particularly fucking sick and amusing that she promises to refrain from giving him material possessions if he doesn't agree to subscribe to her personal belief system. "Believe i More..

  • Another example of why religion is a terrible human invention. Religious people are the most intolerant and hypocritical people ever.

  • I laughed so hard at that lady's blindness. Let her son believe in what he wants. Not believing in God is harmless. Just like not believing in Santa Claus. If there is a god, I'm sure he'd want you to respect your son's wishes at something so harmless. If not, why devote yourself to such a mean tyrant and call him god?

Ironic she uses such foul language too.

  • nonsense. christmas is an adaptation of a much older pagan ritual where people would celebrate the winter soltice on december 21st or 22nd. basicly a celebration of surviving another year.

it has nothing to do with the birth of the christians imaginary friend.

  • You got yourself confirmed! You said to the bishop....

Bitch you don't even know what they say during confirmation, or what confirmation is. Good for this kid. I told my parents that I was atheist and while they still believe in God, they respect my views.

    • @mytwocents Off course nothing can be proven as not existing, granted. But in the case of "god" my agnosticism is on the same level as not being able to disprove the existence of unicorns and the tooth fairy. For all intents and purposes, that level of doubt can be called atheism, even though technically the concept of "god" cannot categorically be disproven.

Look at History, ya religious threats have always been a way to guide the sheep, but why have we all always believed in 'something'?

My guess is we don't have a clue.

Remember, 125 years or so ago we didn't know how to fly....

always ask.....believe what you want, never confirm till proven.

    • @mytwocents In my opinion, religion was created as a way to explain unknown phenomenon. It should've been phased out as soon as scientific research began.

Galileo was forced to recant his theory that the Sun was the center of our system and the Earth revolved around it. He would've been KILLED had he not.

Religion (whether it's the believer or the non-believer) only brings violence.

    • @Smurf
'Organized religeon' has/is/always will be violence..

remove organization and have religeon as a simple thought as it should be and no harm is caused.

believing in a greater being than us is super easy...looking at us.

      Can't argue with that!

Denying the possibility is blatant human arrogance.
      Cheers!

  • Any religion is bad!
As I said before, if you absolutely have to have one, make one up in your head and then keep fucking quiet abut it!
Once you start trying to convert people to your way of thinking you have become an asshole.
