[Update] 178X Saint Louis Background Radiation Source Identified
I have been able to analyze the half life data from the high radioactivity 8/20/11 Saint Louis rain fall. The video goes into detail on the detection; how the source relates to recent events in Fukushima; and how this detection was different from previous radioactive rainfalls which had longer half lives.

Oh, damn. It's still early in the morning and you're requiring me to rub more than two brain cells together. I'll have to come back after my second cup of coffee.
I suspect we'll see an increase in cancer cases and birth defects that will become apparent only when some statistical analysis is done a decade or so from now. Hopefully the CDC will generate data allowing analyses to be done.

Okay. In the really bland jargon I associate with the nuclear engineers and consultants I know who work in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, this guy is laying out why he believes Fukushima may very well become a sustained global disaster.
He is not able to directly identify the radioactive elements causing increases of radiation in the rainfall in Saint Louis. However, the decrease in radiation in a given sample over time gives him enough data to identify the predominant radioactive isotopes that are pre More..

Hmmm. I just checked the USGS summary of quakes in 2011 above 6.0 on the Richter Scale. Off hand, I see no apparent correspondence between this guy's fallout data for Saint Louis and seismic activity in Japan. That doesn't mean he's wrong. It only means I can't connect his findings with any seismic data immediately at hand. This is interesting, though.

@john1054 between 7/31 and 8/20 there have been three 6.0 to 6.8 earthquakes in Fukushima, and associated reports of cracks in the ground releasing steam. Large rapid fluctuations of Radon can occur before, during, and after a quake.

this graph from RADNET of gamma emission in Anchorage with the idea that the recent earthquake in Japan (Aug 19th) triggered further nuclear emissions. Note the spike on that date.

thanks for the video
but could this be linked to the last CME? I'd really like to talk to you about some information i have that might correlate with your data. but might be unrelated to something natural.
Fukushima is perhaps a coincidence.
I'd love to see your data going back to November 2009 and before. Is that possible. Do you have skype?
Regards
Owen
