"Water gushed from two cracked mains on Orlay utca in the 11th District, flooding a large part of Szent Gellért tér Sunday afternoon, sources report.
Traffic came to a standstill. Passengers were asked to get off BKV trams and buses. Police sealed off Bartók Béla út as far as Kosztolányi tér.
The water was switched off Sunday evening after it gushed for over an hour at the corner of Bartók Béla út and Orlay utca, following a high-pressure water pipe burst.

I am thinking... 'busted' cannot be the right word. A window gets busted when you throw a stone at it. 'Totally, catastrophically and utterly fucked' is more like the sort of thing that washes your car down the road and drowns all your neighbours.

@pie4me There is not as much pressure behind a sewage pipe.
Unless it was fajita-night again.

@ZZZzzzap it all depends, some sewage pipes can be under pressure depending on the topography but in this case it looks more like a major water pipe

@lwkleijn lol i know mate, it was just a joke ;) judging by the amount of dirt in the water, there is going to be one hell of a size of sink hole in that street soon.
