  • There are tens of millions who supprt Israel's right to protect themselves and to simply exist. They just arent out in the streets yelling "death to" anyone, and making asses of themselves. Israels struggle is legitimate and just. islum is a desease that WILL be eraticated! Pure and simple.

  • This rally aligns with the majority populations who, at one time, enjoyed a neutral zone around Jerusalem.

And a time when Palestinians and Isrealites coexisted peacefully...

    • There was ni Neutral zone in Jerusalem when the Jordanians controlled it. Jewish Temples, Sites were closed. The Israeli's havent closed Muslim sites to Muslims, nor Christians.

It was Muslims who did that

  • Little do those kids know how the policy of Israel (disproportionate use of force and driving 1.5 million people into despair with blockades) is going to perpetuate this conflict.
Few Palestinians will thank Israel for the bombings and oppression.

Israel does not seem to learn from the past: you cannot bomb and humiliate people into sympathizing with your side - no matter if it is "just" or not.
That didn't work when the Nazis bombed Britain and it didn't work when the Allies bombed G More..

    • Its not about religion.

If your next door neighbor was lobbing rockets or explosives from their land into your land, how long would you take it to react? Or would you just sit by and say, you know...they are good people...really they are.

And if you argue about extreme use of force? Just because someone brings a knife to a fight. does not mean that you should fight back with a knife. If you have the means to a gun to pun down the one who wants you dead, then I doubt you will see it as excessi More..

    • And their were other Jeiwsh Kids there age being murdered by Palestinians

How about Samir Kantar Who used his AKM rifle Butt to crush a 4 year old Israeli girl skull?

      where was your outrage then

      Posted Jan-8-2009 By

    • And where is the outcry when Israeli children were being blown to bits?

      Posted Jan-8-2009 By

    • I am not ignoring the fact that Israeli civilians are also suffering. But that is due to a misguided policy of using excessive force and occupation of Palest. territories which is still ongoing.

Hundreds of Palest. kids blown to bits versus a handful of Israeli Kids.
"100 Eyes for an eye, 100 Teeth for a tooth"
With this method Israel will get nowhere.
Isn't there proof in the fact that the situation has not changed in 60 years?

    • Excessive force? I would see it as excessive force if HAMAS had no explosives or rockets, but they do, and they are fighting a modern war with guerilla tactics. And the IDF is reacting to this with appropriate use of force.
