  • I see these thumbs down for my comment on animal cruelty , I do not kill cats. Going home tonite , i notice a cat in the middle of the road. So i drive around it , my curiosity kicks in and I look in my mirror "thinking it might be sleeping" but no its was dead.

    So now i am thinking , for all these animal loving zealots who thumb me down would you have stopped and called 911?

    • @cajunmojo I had a cat who was 17 years old pass away last July. About 2 weeks later, I found a dead kitty laying on the side of the road. Since I had just lost my heart and soul recently, it was too difficult for me to pick up the cat myself, I spent about 4 hours calling around trying to find someone to pick the kitty up.       Seriously? I've stopped many times for animals (mostly turtles) and gotten them off the road. I know I'm not the only one. Has nothing to do with putting an animal's life over that of a human's. On a old, rainy night I stopped for a dog in the road, which was in the other lane. The rain was so heavy that the oncoming traffic didn't see it, and it got hit hard. I stopped & got it to a vet with no intention of keeping it; in fact I didn't want it.
