Senator Warner (R-VA) on MTP

Warner has spent way too much time as a Senator, he covers every base possible. In my opinion he doesn't really take a "hard stand" on anything, because what he says at one point, he contradicts at another.

A classic politician reply comes at the end when Russert asks Warner about the "the answer"

Russert: "what is the answer"

Warner: "The answer is clearly, we have a problem and we better fix it"

I wish I were able to answer questions like that in school.

I agree. He's been a Senator too long (like many of them) and they "owe" too many favors. Read my post on the blog I contribute to regarding this video.

  • He's been in congress for almost as long as I've been alive. This shouldn't happen in America. We've created an elite political class that spends most of its adult life living inside a bubble, shielded from the concerns most Americans face.

Warner will probably retire in 2008, but the guy who's going to try to replace him, Tom Davis, is just as bad. Davis, who chaired the House Oversight Committee, knew about the slum-like conditions at Walter Reed way back in 2004. But he didn't hold hearing More..
