@ggppgg There was a video on here of some dumbasses shooting at one then running, truck comes around to an open lot - the hajis are running along a wall and the m2 just rips them apart along the wall. pretty badass - i feel no sorrow for those sandeaters.

The basic design in the 30-06 caliber was M1917 designating it as being brought into service in, well, 1917.
The M2 even uses some of the same parts as the M1917. It began active service in 1933 all the way until today.
Not bad for a gun whose basic design was accepted by the military in 1917 and in it's current design in 1933.
Not too bad for a gun that is nearly 80 years old.
