Cops taser black man for not showing I.D. Let white guy go free.

What happens when you refuse to show a police officer I.D.? Two very similar situations occurred recently that resulted in drastically different outcomes. What would you do in this circumstance? Do you know the laws in your state?

  • The answer you're hoping for: racism.

    The real answer:

Citizen #1 Did not commit any infraction requiring the production of ID, he immediately surrendered his weapon, responded in a calm, intelligent manner and showed no hostility at any time, thereby giving officers no reason to fear for their safety.

Citizen #2 Had committed jaywalking, requiring production of ID, reacted aggressively, resisted arrest, attempted to flee and was accompanied by a screaming, verbally aggressive female. Result More..

  • The black guy was indeed suspected of breaking the law and obviously resisted arrest. That is the difference.

  • i think she wanted them to get their supervisor

  • The first guy was NOT committing a crime, knew his rights and asserted them CORRECTLY.

The second one committed an infraction, jay walking, which is an offense and makes one subject to a fine, hence the requirement to provide ID. If for no other reason than the whiny tone of the female's voice she should have been tased too, to shut her up if nothing else.

Nice try at finding racism where there isn't any.

  • The black was plain stupid and is a contender for a Darwin award and that what got him tasered, yelling and accusing cops of assault when at the same time resisting arrest and verbally assaulting cops.

  • You fucking idiot the black guy was being fined for jay walking when he refused to show ID. Guess what if you break the law you have to produce ID that is the law.

Secondly the black guy was also carrying a concealed weapon and it is the law to declare you have a concealed weapon whenever stopped by the law. Now put on your tine foil hat and go back to youtube and look for another anti -Americanconspiracy shit. Get some chemtrails those are the funniest

    • @TEXAS HOLDEM123 I think you read my context wrong. I really hadnt heard the black kid had a gun before and thought since you said you did then you would have a source. Nothing more.

Put the sand back in the vagina and save it for someone else. kthxhainbai. - p.s. - plus i like black people, i like everyone. im liberal like that.

  • i'd say the difference is that they say the 2nd guy committed an infraction, and i believe therefore they are legally entitled to ask him for ID which he didn't do.

first guy didn't commit an infraction. so asking for ID was not a legal right.

oh and of course the 2nd guy is a black bastard in a hat so they get to do whatever the fuck they like.

it's not about race, you're trying to make it about race tho. okay, 100 meters, i get headstart! GO!!!!!!!

    • @cincotta84 Well really-Jaywalking is SUCH an enormous capitol offense that resorting to goon tactic were needed? Right?

      Posted Aug-11-2012 By

    • @Jegsman "...SUCH an enormous capitol offense..."

Of course not. However it does require the offender to provide identification on request. Instead of doing so as the law required him to he became argumentative and extremely uncooperative. When he attempted to walk away, the police were absolutely justified in stopping him.

  • It's not quite the same situation. In the second situation the man was observed blocking traffic, a minor infraction. In the first situation, no infraction was alleged and the white dude was allowed to leave after being hassled. It's not an accurate comparison because the black guy was observed committing an infraction giving the officer legal cause to require ID, not to mention the guy was combative and non-compliant. None of those elements were present with the white guy.
