Strait of Hormuz, and within easy striking distance of Iran.
In addition to some 50,000 U.S. troops currently in the region
waiting for orders (apparently they won’t be home by this past Christmas
as was originally promised), Nobel Peace Prize winner President Barack
Obama is deploying an additional 50,000 soldiers to be ready for ‘any
contingency’ by March:President Barack Obama is reported exclusively
by DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military and Washington sources to have secretly
ordered US air,

    • @stinkbuttdog Nope Iran will get bitchy about anything and find any excuse to close the Gulf off to flex it's muscle. It won't go world wide at all.. China can't do anything, Russia can't afford to do anything who is left? The Arabs want Iran knocked around The west wants Iran knocked around.

  • Very Concerning. This could easily extend beyond the region. With China and Russia allies of Iran and the Arabs against not only Israel but Iran's domination in the region. This could be a real mess from north Africa to the pacific. Pretty ominous. Good info though. Thanks for posting.

  • Im pretty sick of the constant wars, but Iran has been acting like a prick for quite some time now and a solid kick in the ass might well be needed.

  • "Germany's unforgivable crime before the second world war," Churchill said," was her attempt to extricate her economic power from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit." (Churchill to Lord Robert Boothby, quoted in the Foreword, 2nd Ed. Sydney Rogerson, 'Propaganda in the Next War' 2001, orig. 1938.

  • That's good at least. I will be calmed down by the nuclear threat coming from Iran if US will teach her a lesson.

  • Simple fact is, the world can't afford a nuclear IRAN, say all you want about if it's right or wrong. IRAN has been talking shit for awhile now and it was only a matter of time until the USA basically says "This little dog barks a lot" "now we'll see if it can fight" It will be violent and without mercy for IRAN.

    • @Haze33 Yes,just like the stories we heard of Iraq and saddams yellow cake becoming a weapon. Iran has no nuclear weapons,is not building one,and even if it did have one it has no way to deliver one anywhere.Iran,Just like Iraq, has stopped using the USD as trade for oil with China and Russia and will pay for their actions. Nothing more, nothing less.

    • @mannixxx Perhaps the Americans are smarter than that, and this is all a bluff to stop the Israeli's attacking unilaterally, trigering WW3

    • @ElegantDecline

      That would be surprisingly smart.

But I am afraid that we will soon hear that Ahmadinejad plans to take over the world and that if we want to board an airplane without risking being nuked out at the airport terminal we have to send him some troops.
