    • @harv i am not sure what would happen. Many would just hand over their guns. But a whole lot really would say "come and take them". It would be quite bloody. NO ONe trusts the government and a lot of people would rather die then live in a disarmed nation.

    • @Hitler_Is_Amazing at least you can defend yourselves..i live in Northern Ireland and to own just an air rifle you have to apply through the police for a firearms licence...in the rest of the UK you dont...f--kin crazy...when it does come a time when we have to fight for our freedoms and lives of our families what the f--k are we supposed to do...theres obviously places and people that can provide weopons but it shouldnt have to be like that...its the same even here for a f--kin crossbow...i do More..

  • As ever... cops protect cops from deserved criminal liability. It's a time-honored tradition. This is why, among other measures, the police unions in the US must be severely curtailed.

  • I'm not surprised they're augmenting their pay. It would appear a London officer who's completed training is earning a whopping £39,000. I never approve of officers stealing, but it's been proven that low wages breed corruption. London isn't a cheap place to live either.

    • @Captain Canuck That's $61,000 a year US, they can't live on that? Considering that is chump change in Kalifornia too - about right. When they retire do they just go to another country? In the US at least you can just go to a cheaper state - no option for that here. In England everything is the same for the entire country including the laws.
      The gun laws in England alone would drive me bonkers. I don't know what i'd do without my beloved AK47's...
