Libyan people's anti-islamist, pro-western demonstration in Benghazi

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/sep/22/unarmed-people-power-libya#start-of-comments

I'm a British ex-pat who has lived and worked in Libya for a long time. I have grown to love Libya and its people, know them for who they are and I'm very proud of their brave uprising against a tyrant. Libyans are also very grateful to NATO forces for aiding them.

And so, the tragic killing of the US Ambassador and three other embassy officials in Benghazi has been a huge slap in the face for Americans and for the Libyans. Unfortunately, the knee-jerk negative comments I've read against Libyans being islamist scum who ought to be nuked have been harshly unfair and unfounded.

I hope that this linked article (above), demonstrates to most of the west that the Libyan people truly stand for. I don't know any other Arab country who have demonstrated in this way on behalf of America when tragedy hits their diplomatic envoy in the past.
