Five convicted in Australia of terror cost Australian taxpayers $35 million
Five men were convicted Friday in Sydney, Australia, of trying to commit terrorist acts in the country's longest-ever terror trial, court officials said.
The guilty verdicts came after a jury deliberated for 23 days, according to a statement from the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

The Australian government is getting sick and tired of these people. I`ve just been reading in the news that if they cant adapt to the Australian way of life, they are to leave and go to a country where they will be more comfortable with those values.The Australian government is turning BACK illegal immigrant boats back to Indonesia because they cant be sure anymore if any of those boats have Terrorists on board and they are not taking chances anymore. The Political system is getting pressed harder and harder by the people to do something and they are, the law courts here are getting sick and tired of these guy`s trying to blow up military bases and the anti-social behaviour is getting out of control and they are asking the government to do something. The local people are sick and tired of these guy`s biting the hand that feeds them. Just glad to see SOMETHING is being done.
