I am a corrections officer. 99.9% of this video is a lie. Inmates are always in control of their destiny. Their behavior dictates how they are treated and they are never subjected to anything in this video the way it is depicted. They are usually confined to segregation for their own protection and are seen by medical staff each day, are allowed outside each day and allowed three showers a week. This third world, uneducated, silly propagandist comes from a country where people are routinely executed without even so much as a trial. Perhaps that is why he doesn't understand the concept of due process, or appeals, or lawyers. Suffice it to say that you don't go to prison without being convicted in a court of law of a crime. And you don't get put in solitary confinement unless your behavior requires it.

Prisons used to be hard labour. People die after a few years. Now you have 3 square meals a day. Free medical care, free dental, free college education, free physical fitness equipment, etc. Yes, you have to put up a few riots a year but considering you can get shot on the street, this is a luxury. They even let you go free when you get old and decrepid. I don't know what are people complaining about.
