When the camera panned to the death cloud, with soldiers out of their trenches and marching toward it, I found it hauntingly beautiful and disturbing. The scene left me in awe at the magnificent destructive power of physics and brave men walking closer to the maelstrom of death.. Though as I mentioned, more than a little perturbed that generals were willing to sentence their fellow servicemen to contamination that can only end with cancer.
