JUST A SHORT RESPONSE TO PETE AND SAMMY FROM SLOOP.
Another boring garden viddy but this one is for FresnoPete and SamWise. No one else is allowed to watch or leave comments.
Oh, Heather? Beautiful, hard working, loves kids and animals, loves my hot sauce and I love ..., never mind. ;)

Nice garden.
That is definitely not overcrowded when compared to samwise's 1 by 8 foot strip of 30 plants full of crabgrass.

@marinemom..Thanks, Mom. We need rain badly as we've only had one good soaker since planting season started. The corn out there looks pretty bad right now.

Sloop, you inspired me.
I have a raised flower bed in front of my house that was wiped out from Katrina and I was going to re-grade when funds come available. Since it's a raised bed (necessary where I live) and indefinitely idol (I've just kept it weeded), I thought WTF, let's plant veggies in it... Well, a week ago I planted at least 3 kinds of watermelons, honeydew, cantaloupe, one tomato and a bunch of cucumbers. It's pretty late in the season here but I couldn't stand it anymore...
Y More..

Neem oil sloop, all natural for the bugs, check it out, they hate it and it works well.

Sloop from what I've seen of your garden this far, you've got a black belt in growing it good, and living it good as well. Much respects, really enjoy these visits into your world.

Nice garden there Sloop!
Yeah, the sunflowers I planted are of the Mammoth variety said to grow 12-14 ft., according to the package.. Video doesn't do them justice as they are about 4' tall but have massive leaves. Next year I'm lining the driveway with them..
Tell ya what, Basil is hard to start from seed! I must have tossed a handful of Basil seeds out there and just have a little twig trying to grow! WTF?!!
I even have some mystery growth happening. The Potatoes, I never planted Potatoes but More..
