lesson to be learned:
do not attempt to fix the camera whilst pulling over to fix the camera then use the front brake on loose gravel.

How did I know he was american...
he prolly sued the Main Roads dept, the moped company and the video camera company, because they should have:
1)..not put gravel on the side of the road,
2)..told him in written form not to apply too much brake on gravel,
3)..told him not to use a camera when riding a moped on roads

Doh.. mopeds are particularly unstable even when you're NOT on gravel. Tiny wheels means low gyroscopic effect (which is what keeps you upright). Add an overweight American with no common sense and there you go..

Too much traffic for Magnetic Island. My guess is between Cairns and Port Douglas. Looks very hazy and dry though.
