DALLAS, Texas (NBC) -- A Garland, Texas father is behind bars, accused of requesting nude photos from his teenage son's female friends.

The man was arrested last month on three child pornography-related charges.

Officials are not naming the man to protect the identity of his son.

Police said the man sent out numerous text messages asking for nude photos.

Investigators said three girls honored his request, two who are younger than 16 and one who is younger than 14.

Investigators said the girls may have been duped into thinking they were sending the photos to a classmate, not a 37-year-old man.

Police said they believe the victims are all friends of his son, who attends a Richardson junior high school.

The man is being held on $150,000 bail.
