In the UK, the only clue is if Operation Trident get mentioned (ie black on black, usually with guns involved)...everything else is just a mugging or rape (with no further follow-up information provided by the media). It is only where a white (or mixed-race) is the aggressor that the full information is provided....ie as a racist attack by a white aggressor on another nationality.
