I love the Israelis. Even the Israelis in Tel Aviv, even the San Francisco Israelis. I love 'em. Have you heard what they're doing? Obama yesterday, in his outreach of love and "please respect me" and "please raise my approval numbers," in his speech at Cairo University, he admonished the Israelis to stop building settlements on the West Bank. So the Israelis responded today by increasing their construction of what they're now calling Obama huts. Although these huts that they are building on the West Bank are going to be much larger than the six by nine square foot hut his brother still lives in in Kenya. "A day after US President Barack Obama reiterated his call to stop settlement activity during a speech in Cairo, defiant settlers continued to erect illegal structures in the West Bank, building a new outpost on Friday morning between Migron and Kohav Ya'akov.

"At the outpost, named Oz Yehonatan, the settlers built a wooden structure they mockingly called the 'Obama Hut,' saying it was a sign of appreciation for the US president for his actions that had led to a dramatic rise in the number of outposts. Overnight Thursday, settlers and right-wing activists --" this from the Jerusalem Post, by the way "-- once again rebuilt the illegal Maoz Esther outpost that was dismantled on Wednesday by security forces. ... One of the activists said of Obama, 'He's an Arab Muslim and a gentile, he is fighting against the Jewish people." The settlement Israelis are not happy and there are a lot of other Muslims around the world not happy with Obama's speech, either. This was not the big win he wanted.

A caller made e a comment "Concerning probably one of the biggest lies of the last 50 years, this doctrine of 'land for peace' in Israel." He said, "Having made several trips to Israel, I can tell you this: that there is not enough land for Israel to cede to the Palestinians to ever pacify their objective. They will not be happy until every Jew is gone from Israel. That is their objective." That's right. You know, we can dance around this all we want. The Israelis have already given up land. There's been land for peace. They've been doing this for 60 years. They've even given back land they conquered after having been attacked. It's never enough because land is not what the Palestinians want. Land is not what Hamas wants. Land is not what Hezbollah wants. Land is not what Iran wants for them. What they want is no Jews.

It's plain and simple. You're not going to have, you never have peace... Somebody find for me a genuine negotiated peace. Find for me. You don't have peace... This is the Limbaugh Doctrine. "You don't have peace until one side is defeated" and thus surrenders, and until that happens here, there's not going to be peace. How in the world does anybody in their right mind preach to the Israelis about what to do after what they've already done when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at least once a week threatens to annihilate them? He's nuking up, and Obama has granted permission for Iran to go ahead and build up nuclear power -- under the premise, of course, that they don't "weaponize." Well, we told the North Koreans the same thing. Nobody's gonna stop Iran from doing whatever they're gonna do. It's painfully obvious now, is it not? Nobody's going to stop the Iranians.

So even if they sign a piece of paper, "Okay, fine. All we'll do is rev up for nuclear power." They've got more oil in Iran... They don't need to go nuclear power. Now, it's true, they don't have any refineries. Well, they may have one that operates. They've gotta import their gasoline. They don't have to export their oil to get it refined to gasoline and bring it back, but they don't need it for power. In the strict sense of need, they don't need nuclear. They've got oil reserves out the wazoo. You know, this is the kind of thing. Common sense is common sense, and this is so obvious. This whole Middle East peace conflict is so obvious common sense-wise that there has to be far more going on here than the average person like us can know, because common sense says, "None of what has been tried in the Middle East peace process ever worked, so why is a continuation of the same effort -- which is just a definition of insanity -- then going to all of a sudden work?" Mystifying.
