  • 1st thought- I can see the overwhelming liberal agenda seeping from this school, as is the case in almost all schools in the US. Certainly almost all state schools. I went to three of them and the professors there were overwhlemingly liberal. No doubt the professors that this kid has are preaching the white guilt b.s. and thought this was a brilliant project. The author poses the question, "will beauty ever be more than skin deep". Which is retarded given that the question you aske More..

    • yea im sure the kids will understand that, and a few adults - anatomy wise it is not correct kids, cannot relate to what they do not see in the real world, not every black kid has a michael steel or niaomi cambell for ma pa or aunt or uncle - powder em white you would never know they were really a black color...

  • "Will beauty ever be more than skin deep?" Oh so they were supposed to judge the dolls by their personalities?

  • white has always been a colour of purity to humans of all backgrounds. Maybe that throws this test off a bit???? Our obsession with colour? Look at a disney movie for instance that kids around here always watch. the Good princess always had blond hair and a shiny white dress etc.... the bad which would have black hair black dress etc..... so what do you think that will engrave on a child's mind over time.... white and bright is good, dark and black is evil.....

    • those were made at a time when this country thought they were not going to have an immigration problem and the workers in cinematography were white and thoght they were always were going to cater to a majority white population. Besides white Barbie is a bad bad role model, I could understand a "corporate barbie", a "doctor barbie", a "lawyer barbie" etc... but Malibu Barbie, she drives a porche and lives in a mansion shes gotta be a "porn star" or a " More..

  • Truth hurts... But anyone whoever tried to claim "black is beautiful" never looked in a toilet bowl.

    • naw I do not think the reflection is their like a mirror, with gold medals, sports, setting the pace for music and acting just down right cocky because they know it is beautiful....

  • I didn't see any black kids included in this test. Was that intentionally done to insure a certain result?

    • Agreed,it was a set up. I don't think boys should be part of the test. I would have loved if one of the boys said "They all look hot to me"

  • If you put out 3 stuffed dogs all the same color one pit-bull, one collie, one poodle. You will get similar results. Pit-bulls are aggressive muscular dogs that get negative media coverage. Poodles an also be viscous but I have never seen negative media coverage of a poodle. This is not racism, this is the child's sense of self preservation. You dont have to be a racist to learn that its probably not safe to walk up to a pit-bull and pet it.

  • In cultures throughout the world The darker your skin the lower social status you held or were perceived to hold. Dark skin insinuates that you work outside denoting farming or another menial task.

  • I would like to see this test done with high school aged or adult guys. I would almost guarantee the white barbie would not be the prettiest (except to black or latin males) I would guarantee the latin barbie would be the prettiest for the white males, probably with the black doll coming in second and the blond last. Also the white males would say Blond barbie is the meanest, followed by black barbie and latin barbie tied for second. The black males would say black barbie, and the latin males wo More..
