Dumb guy is like "Shit you got a sword, hand it over". If someone pulls out a sword they most likely train with it and shouldn't be taken lightly. No one is just carrying a katana for fun. At least he knew when to pull it out and use it to stop the situation without hurting anyone. The black guy would have taken it and started swinging.

definitely knew what he was doing. he held it in a way that the sharpened area of the blade could still be used when slashing upwards as he couldn't very easily over head. if they had continued it would have been a problem for them. and i know in most states having a blade like that would be illegal if it were concealed but looking at the 20 second mark it wasn't.
