haha and Rosie Odonnell (sireen said the cross dresser) will claim it is fabricated.
@Rasengan they would be probably right (half right at least!) : not my observation (user "Lllarry" writes about it in the comments), but it seems like SAA destroys their immobilized tank so to not fall in FSA - a crew member gets inside in the beginning of the video, and then... too much editing (cut off scenes) so to appear like FSA hit it with some rocket/missile (it may actually did hit it, but it may also be a failed track, engine, e.t.c.) - again, probably half victory for FSA...
I've said it before: bringing a tank to street fight is idiotic without infantry.
@Cromander it's just a huge stationary target!
@Cromander apparently they have infinite supply of tanks.
You have to have a functioning brain to understand that, which these morons don't have and never will have.
Just listen to these idiots, every time another round cooks off
@Cromander i guess they should join LL so that you can educate them?
Actually, after looking at this at full screen, I'm almost certain that this is the demolition of a tank instead of a missile hit. After the guy gets into the tank, he doesn't close the hatch. Then there's an edit in the video. There are then two explosions, one from the left that produces the cloud of smoke (0:14), and a bright flash that looks like the tank gun firing (0:15), probably from a round already in the breech. I'm betting this was the Syrian army destroying one of its disabled tanks More..to keep it falling into rebel hands. There are way too many edits in this video. The rebels probably filmed the Syrian army demolishing a tank and then put it out there as another great tank kill. Less..
it was an ATGM. if you look carefully @18-21 secs you can see the swirling missilie amidst the dust cloud.
Built in crematory
I couldn't quite see the TV logo, they should make it bigger and centre it a little bit more..
@Thedeemon they could also move it around some as well, maybe move towards moving items so we can't see even more
Always good to see mechanizations of oppression felled.
@driedjello Very true
Imagine how it looks on the inside once it cools off.
@SmokeFerret various carbonized materials...If you catch my drift.
@SmokeFerret Clean up is easy. Just take a Shop Vac and vacuum out the inside real good. Plus everything is nice and sterile.
You may need to scrape some of that carbonised stuff of the walls if you are that neat but who would actualy care.
Also, i don't think they showed everything in that film. What you can see in that film is just the propellant igniting. I'm pretty certain that there was still some shells still ready to go. And when those shells go they GO! Tank literaly changes its shape.
What's with the flaming toilet seat emblem in the top left of the screen? :)
Keep sending tanks without infantry cover into urban areas....
@cirvine11 What infantry? assad has none, he put the remanent of his army on thanks covered by snipers and shelling, Assad does not have popular support his army is small he is outnumber 5 to 1.
@tiempodelfin Totally agree... and that makes sending these tanks in almost suicidal.
@cirvine11 If Assad put the rest of his army on tanks, then I'd be willing to bet that a large part of the tank kills we see can be attributed to poorly trained crews getting in over their heads. There's some things that these tankers are doing that, beyond going into urban areas, doesn't make reasonable sense. Like keeping the TC hatch unbuttoned...
tanks are basically useless in modern warfare unless they are protected by air support and infantry. these guys failed, no common sense
lol, allah akbah over the radio 3:03.
Somebody ever invents a bullet that homes in on allah akbars this war would be over faster then you could blink and eye.
That's a T-72 for ya.
It is an ancient tank from 1971....
My answer to CaptSpaulding's video of yesterday, titled "SAA tanks own Darayya" = ULTRAKILL!
BMP crewman at 1:13 is like "man, f*ck that!". Oddly enough, not everybody bails out as there is still movement in the turret. Must have been the longest minutes for some SAA
Grab your knife and fork lads... Dinner is served!
@ste23253 Shake-N-Bake tank.
@Skinnydaddy needs more vodka to make the ouchies go away.
and it still sucks to be a tank crew in Syria.....
@StealthComment i think it pretty much sucks to be anything in Syria at the moment.
who needs radar when they just yell out their positions
The multi-staged burn suggests the propellant storage in that particular tank was compartmentalized.
@NotJim T-72. More likely there was a round in the barrel meaning the auto loader was shut down. So yeah, in a way compartmentalized. First big cook would have been the rounds in the spare storage under the turret. Then once the auto loader's own minor shielding breaches you get the later burns.
This tank will replace my pop-corn maker.
A lonely, single tank, sitting still in the middle of an urban war zone. SAA seems slow to learn...
A lot from looted Libyan stores I'd bet.
Wow! That tank is gonna be hot for at least a week!
