@70gto With a barrel that long and the correct arc, of course he could make the shots. As someone already pointed out, you could not increase the PSI very much without chopping every other ball.
Although in large skirmishes they usually allow a little higher PSI, but only 50 or so extra.

Because his scpope is zero'ed for a farther distance so he aims low when shooting at closer targets. he slightly compensates for windage too.

The marker he is using, takes special paintballs. The paintballs have fins on the back of them which which stabilizes the paint nearly doubling the effective range of the marker. The reason the people duck down so fast is because the fins have a tendency to imbed into the players skin when hit. I have been hit countless times by these paintballs and it always hurts, kind of a knee jerk reaction to drop down.
