Bear cub rescued from rock crevass in BC (post) 
Rescued this bear cub from a rock crevasse in British Columbia - Fraser Canyon. Mother charged us a few times while we undid the rope used to haul it out of the rocks Cub was seen with mom a few hours later.

Idiot pulled the cub out with a rope around it's throat? Should have put the rope behind its front legs,some water would have helped too.

Yeah Ok...will do that next time I have lasso hanging over a wild animal 10 feet down in a crevasse

I doubt he lassoed the thing. Most likely he climbed down and that is how he attached the rope. He cant even get it untied,a lasso would release instantly.

Poor thing was exhausted, better to tie your dog up first before releasing it, wild animals can die of exhaustion especially when they are so young.
