  • the best way to save these countries is a Eurobond...even though Germany would have to have to take on the huge burden of the EB it would stabilize the PIIGS of Europe and provide a source of funding at a rate those countries can afford...if Spain goes thats it with the Euro.....

  • for us Brits we must be careful... if you have your money with santander, because, after all, they have their headquarters in Spain and would prefer our savings in their country rather than ours, laws should be enacted to prevent UK savings deposits being used by foreign banks to shore up their bad banking losses.
