I thought for sure someone would be electrocuted. But what that cop did was the definition of a hero. Risking his own life to save another. Kudos.

WOW if i had a gun beside me right now id probably turn it on myself (not really) but it boggles my mind that no one took action they all looked at each other like what do we do? DUHHHH fuck!if the cop was not there no "civy" would have done anything clearly. whats worse bending over to save a life or watch him get chewed by the train. Pathetic insight on how selfish a lot of people really are.

Agree. Far as I can tell, only in America, this shitty country filled with idiots, REPUBLICANS, twits, selfish greedy bastards, and lawyers, do people actually HELP people in need, regardless of race, creed, religion, or color.
Everywhere else people just stand around, drive past, or break out their cellphones to film the suffering.
So kudos to us for actually acting like civilized human beings when we arent ripping each other off and starting wars with other countries.
Near as I can More..

Selfish?
I don't agree. The other train was coming, people did what they could trying to make the driver stop. The tracks are 1.6 meters deep, plus not everybody has enough cold blood to just jump and drag a guy out of the way, it is extremely risky.
Only a cop, with a clear head and good physical condition could do what he did.

the majority of people arent in any physical condition to do any "life saving"... typically it seems that the physically fit are the only ones capable of doing the job...
and good luck getting a group of random civillians to work together and FOLLOW orders... because thats what will have to happen for a group to work together, they gotta follow orders.

Gutsy - any potential for electrocution here?

No risk of electrocution. Electric power lines in the Madrid subway are on on top of the wagons, not on the tracks.
