@pauliec17 Yes, slow, but beautiful. They look magnificent. Has the stylistic flair of the the retired SR71.
As opposed to the stealthy but jaggedly ugly F117 fighter.

Mach 2 is pretty fast today still.. they cruise at a good speed too. It was range and climb rate that really penalized them.

No,you're referring to the Tupolev Tu-160 (NATO codename Blackjack)which is a much larger, faster and longer ranged intercontinental bomber.
