VERONA, Ky. -- A Kentucky teen is recovering after deputies said he was shot by his mother.
Deputies said Tyler Wilson, 19, was arguing with his stepfather, Carl Huffman, 60, at about 5:35 p.m. Sunday at Huffman's home on Vest Lane in Verona.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office said Wilson's mother, Lori Huffman, 40, came outside with a gun and fired two shots.

Investigators said Wilson was inadvertently shot in the leg. Paramedics took him to University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Huffman was charged Monday with assault and wanton endangerment. She was ordered held on $100,000 bond.
