  • Looks like the soldiers are in high spirits. Good to see them holding out against Nato and Saudi Arabia backed Islamist rebels.

Syria isn't known to spend TRILLION'S of tax payers hard earned dollars on the military.

If they did, you'd see better organization.

I'm sure there's other areas that will increase the quality of life. Maybe Syria having ZERO debt as a nation is a start.

  • Fast turret traverse at :45. What type of tank is that?

Interesting, the tank has it's side exposed in the direction it's firing. Not worried about any anti-tank weaponry returning fire.

    Cool footage.

  • And this is the army that is suppose to threaten Israel? LOL what a joke.. Well every Arab army is a joke..hehe

    • @freedomfyter The whole scary Arab army think is pretty useful when lobbying for economic aid from the US though...

    • @freedomfyter yeah the Syrian Army is rubbish but the Egyptian, Iranian and Turkish armies are another story. Egypt has nearly taken large parts of southern Israel in the past - only massive US aid prevented that. Turkeys army is one of the largest and best equipped in the world. Iran's army is also well equipped and large. For the record I dislike Israel and fundementalist Muslims.

  • Keep pounding the rats into submission.

Question, why are they using an AA gun? That's a bit odd, where's the T-78s? This might be a quick setup as a FOB.

    • @mphatik Syria isn't quite the advanced military. A triple-A gun versus ground units, homes and civilians is just as effective a weapon as any considering they don't give a shit about collateral damage.

shilkas used to be used as suppressing fire, it's an old Russian tactic however if im not mistaken it was outlawed by the Geneva convention as they mostly maim and wound unintended targets: IE, the shrapnel fucks up lots of civilians.....guess syria did not get that memo....but then again the brutality of Islam knows no mercy and cares not for the laws of civilized mankind, they can try to wipe out the "enemy" and put the fear of allah in the people so noone else gets any p More..

    • @fern420 Agreed, when fighting with islamists every option is to be used. Most important task is to crush those fanatics.

Those "civilians" are long gone, either in Turkey or other parts of Syria with relatives.

You didn't think the civilians liked to be under house arrest by the Rebels, randomly being chosen to die as they are "Assad Supporters".
