  • I like the look that type of a tip leaves on the paper, but I hate that scratchy sound and feel in your fingers ... Not my thing

      Yeah we used them in grade 5 before being promoted to bic biro's. Being a left-hander blotting paper was a must. Hated the scratching noise too.

  • I loved this! Man I have so many fountain pens but not the talent to write like this guy :-( I'd do miracles if I have his talent. I don't mind the scratching noise as I think this is maximised in the video. Well done and nice video. Keep them coming.

      Like peoples skills in art, sport, music... etc. they got to where they are because of dedication and practice.

    • @SevenZero Very true. I mainly use ballpoint or roller ball pens for work and study and so do not practice as often as I should. Maybe will try using the fountain pens for work and study too from now on.

      One question though, can you do the different fonts with any fountain pen or does it need to be custom-made like it said in the description at the beginning of the video?

      Hey there shkshook, thanks for your feedback about the clip.

      I uploaded it because I have a couple of FP's and love to write with them. Also have some other premium pens that are beautiful to write with. I originally started with a Florentino Medici off eBay, then Arbartus, before getting some really good FP's from Mont Blanc.

      Different FP's will give you different results, but most decent FP's will give you the same results as in the clip. The OK/Good ones start around $40 USD More..

    • @Aussie Wow that actually was you in the video? That's cool man. I thought you are just the uploader but knowing it was you doing the writing I have to say I really admire your skills man. My handwriting looks like it was written by a spider!

      Well maybe this is because English is not my first language, but still, my handwriting in Arabic is even worse lol

      I do actually have a plenty of FPs including, Parker, Cross, Mont Blanc. but I only use them now and then. I tried to do the same fonts as More..
